SellerHint for Mac and its supporting online services

1. Scope and acceptance

These terms describe your use of SellerHint for Mac and its supporting online services. SellerHint is operated by SHADEZCO LLC. Use SellerHint only if you can enter into a binding agreement and, when acting for a business, are authorised to do so. If you do not agree to the applicable terms, do not use the app or services.

SellerHint for Mac and SellerHint Web are separate products with separate data and service identities. A Mac purchase does not include the Web product, and connecting the same marketplace store does not synchronise their data. The Web draft on this page is not part of these Mac terms.

2. App licence and Apple terms

The Mac application uses Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). It governs the app licence, permitted use, termination, warranties and liability. These service terms supplement that agreement and do not replace it or change its licence restrictions or protections.

App Store transactions are also subject to Apple’s applicable purchase terms. Apple’s transaction terms govern App Store billing; the Standard EULA governs the application licence. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

3. Free use, purchases and subscriptions

SellerHint for Mac is free to download through the Mac App Store. Local Free use does not require a SellerHint account. Free and paid feature limits are shown in the app and on the pricing page. Paid listing capacity without a fixed count is limited in practice by your Mac, available memory and storage, and marketplace limits. Apple Account access and verified purchase eligibility are required for App Store purchases and restoration.

Before purchasing, review the actual App Store offer for the price, currency, billing period, included features, taxes and any promotional conditions. Paid access depends on a valid purchase entitlement. A website description or roadmap does not itself activate a purchase or guarantee that an offer is available in your region.

An auto-renewable subscription renews under the conditions shown by Apple unless cancelled. Manage or cancel it through your Apple Account subscriptions. Removing the app, disconnecting eBay or deleting a SellerHint account does not cancel Apple billing. Cancellation normally stops future renewal; access through the current paid period follows Apple’s transaction status and applicable rules.

A free trial or introductory subscription offer applies only when displayed by Apple for your eligible account. Its duration, renewal price and cancellation conditions are those shown before you accept it. No trial is promised by these terms.

4. Refunds and restoring purchases

Apple processes App Store payments and refund requests. Some purchases may qualify for a refund under Apple’s process and applicable law; approval is determined by Apple. SellerHint cannot issue an App Store refund directly. Contact us for product support, and use Apple’s refund process for the payment request.

Restore purchases using the Apple Account associated with the purchase and the app’s restore controls. Available features depend on the entitlement Apple reports, including expiration, refunds or revocation. A SellerHint account and an Apple purchase are separate identities.

5. Marketplace connections and authorised actions

Connecting eBay authorises the supported marketplace functions you choose to use. Review the destination store, listing, quantities, prices, messages and other changes before submitting them. Saving locally and sending changes to eBay are different actions. An instruction to publish, revise, schedule or otherwise send a supported action authorises SellerHint to submit it on your behalf.

Marketplace operations can fail, be delayed or complete only in part. Check the reported result and the marketplace record before repeating an uncertain action. SellerHint does not control eBay’s availability, permissions, request limits, policies or decisions. SellerHint is not operated by or endorsed by eBay.

You remain responsible for complying with marketplace agreements and for your listings, inventory, taxes, item legality, fulfilment, buyer communications, returns and other obligations as a seller. SellerHint does not guarantee sales, profit, search placement or marketplace approval.

6. Your content and data

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use listing text, images, videos and buyer or order information. You authorise SellerHint and its service providers to process that information only as needed to provide the features you use, carry out your instructions, protect the services and meet legal obligations, as described in the Mac Privacy Policy.

The working catalog and other native records are stored locally on your Mac. Maintain suitable backups and use available export controls. Optional cloud media storage is not a backup of the entire local catalog. Uninstalling the app or removing local files may affect your ability to recover local work.

Cloud media uploaded for marketplace delivery can be accessible through its delivery URL. Do not upload confidential documents, credentials or unnecessary personal information as listing media. Disconnecting a marketplace does not by itself remove listings or copies already held by that marketplace.

7. Account and service security

Protect your Mac, Apple Account, SellerHint sign-in and marketplace accounts. Use only stores you own or are authorised to manage. Tell us promptly if you believe SellerHint access has been compromised, without sending passwords or tokens. Optional SellerHint account linking supports online features and does not automatically move or synchronise the local catalog.

8. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the app or services for unlawful, fraudulent or infringing activity, or to violate marketplace rules.
  • Do not access another person’s data or account without permission, bypass security or purchase checks, or interfere with the services.
  • Do not upload malicious content, misuse buyer information, or use the services to harass or abuse others.
  • Follow the app licence restrictions in the Standard EULA, subject to rights and exceptions provided by applicable law.

9. Cloud services and availability

SellerHint uses Cloudflare for supporting online services, including backend processing and cloud media storage and delivery. Internet access and third-party availability are needed for online functions. Storage and usage allowances are those shown for the applicable feature or plan; a paid app entitlement does not imply unlimited external resources.

Maintenance, security measures, changes to marketplace APIs or service interruptions can affect online functions. We may restrict affected online access to address abuse, a security risk or a legal requirement. Where practicable, we will explain a material restriction and how to seek support. Such a restriction does not itself cancel an Apple subscription; manage billing through Apple.

10. Changes, updates and product information

Features may change as the app, macOS and marketplace interfaces evolve. Beta features and roadmap descriptions are not promises of a release date. The supported system requirements and plan descriptions identify current availability. A completed permanent-unlock purchase remains subject to the offer described in section 3.

We may update these service terms and will show the updated date on this page. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice through the app, website or another available contact channel. Changes do not retrospectively alter completed App Store transactions or override mandatory legal rights.

11. Ending use and data deletion

You can stop using the app, disconnect marketplace connections and request deletion of eligible online data. Back up or export local work you want to keep. Account deletion, marketplace disconnection, removal of local files and subscription cancellation are separate steps. Apple transaction records and marketplace records remain subject to their respective providers’ rules.

12. Intellectual property, warranties and disputes

SellerHint and its software, branding and documentation remain the property of their respective rights holders. Your content remains yours. Third-party trademarks and components remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable licences.

The Standard EULA sets out the applicable app warranties, liability provisions, termination and governing-law provisions. These service terms add no separate arbitration requirement or chosen dispute venue. Applicable mandatory consumer protections continue to apply. Contact us first if you need help resolving a product or service concern.

13. Contact

SellerHint Web Terms of Service

Draft — not in forceVersion 0.1-draft

Not set — draft

Applies to
SellerHint Web — planned browser application

1. Scope and status

This is a working draft for the planned SellerHint Web application. It is not in force and does not create a subscription, payment obligation or licence. SellerHint is operated by SHADEZCO LLC. The final Web agreement will be published before the product is offered under it.

2. Separate product and accounts

SellerHint Web and SellerHint for Mac use separate service identities and data. A Mac purchase does not grant Web access, and the same connected marketplace does not automatically synchronise the two products. Web sign-in, access levels and supported account features will be stated at launch.

3. Marketplace responsibilities

The final terms will describe supported marketplace actions and the authorisation needed to carry them out. Sellers remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of listings, inventory, taxes, fulfilment, returns and buyer communications, and for complying with marketplace rules.

4. Content and cloud services

The Web product is designed to store its working data remotely, separately from the Mac catalog. The final agreement and Web Privacy Policy will describe data processing, Cloudflare services, storage allowances, backups, export, deletion and any public media delivery URLs. Those operational details still need confirmation.

5. Pricing, renewal, trials and refunds

Web billing will be separate from Mac App Store purchases. The billing provider, available plans, taxes, renewal process, trial conditions, cancellation method and refund policy must be confirmed before a paid Web offer is made. Apple’s Mac purchase process must not be assumed to apply to Web payments.

6. Security and acceptable use

  • Use only accounts and marketplace stores you are authorised to manage.
  • Do not misuse personal information, upload unlawful or malicious content, bypass security, or disrupt services.
  • Protect sign-in credentials and report suspected unauthorised access.

7. Availability and ending access

The final agreement will explain supported browsers, service dependencies, material changes, suspension, cancellation and the opportunity to export or delete data. No uptime commitment, retention period, refund entitlement or dispute process is established by this draft.

8. Finalisation and contact

We will complete this draft when the Web product and its commercial terms are ready. Questions can be sent to support@sellerhint.com with “SellerHint Web Terms” in the subject. The published Mac terms remain separate.
