Storage for images
SellerHint for Mac manages images locally. A catalog with many products and several images each will use a meaningful amount of disk space, and that space also has to be covered by your backups. Plan for the size of your image library rather than the size of the application.
Internet and marketplace requirements
- Internet connection
- Required to authorise a store, refresh marketplace information, and send supported changes to eBay. Local catalog work does not require one.
- eBay account
- An eBay account with the selling permissions your workflow needs.
- Supported eBay marketplaces
- Not published yet
macOS permissions and peripherals
- Notifications
- Required only if you want alerts from background refresh or GTC Guard. The application works without granting it.
- Files and folders
- Required when you choose a location for imports, exports, images or backups. SellerHint asks at the point you choose a location.
- Printer
- Required only to print invoices and packing slips. Any printer configured in macOS can be used.
- Accessibility
- SellerHint participates in the macOS accessibility settings it supports. Known gaps are recorded on the accessibility page.
Unsupported configurations
- macOS versions older than the published minimum are not supported.
- Hardware not listed as supported is not supported, even if the application appears to launch.
- Running SellerHint against a marketplace not listed as supported is not supported, and behaviour is undefined.
- Storing SellerHint data on a network volume or a synchronising folder is not supported and can corrupt local storage.
