Avoid updating separate products as if they were one.
Compare every conflicting product’s title, identity and store links. Resolve the intended association before applying quantity changes. Merge only when the records truly represent the same product and the merge review is clear.
Leaving a conflict unresolved is safer than sending quantity to the wrong listing.
